[Hiring] VP of Operations @Embarc Advisors

Role Description

Your next role should come with a real seat at the table and a clear path to the top operating job. This one has both. As VP of Operations, you'll be the Founder/CEO's right hand and Embarc's future EOS Integrator.

You'll be joining a firm with real momentum. Revenue has nearly tripled in three years, Embarc Advisors® has made the Inc. 5000 three years running, and its hourly fee model is shaking up middle-market M&A. With three businesses to scale (M&A advisory, transaction diligence and strategic CFO advisory), your impact will show up in the numbers.

You're the kind of leader who remains steady when things are challenging and leads with a clear professional voice.

Qualifications

• You hold now, or held recently, a VP of Operations, Chief of Staff, General Manager or EOS Integrator role in which you reported directly to a founder/CEO and worked with the leadership team as a peer.
• You have built and scaled growth.
• You have helped grow a professional services or multi-line firm of roughly 30 to 60+ people.
• You have owned the numbers.
• You have successfully held leaders accountable.
• You are an AI early adopter.
• You have an entrepreneurial track record.
• You have a bachelor's degree, and the ability to travel for quarterly offsites plus about six trips a year with the CEO.

Requirements

• You can point to the systems you put in place: meeting cadence, KPIs, and hiring and onboarding processes.
• You built and owned the forecast, budget or capacity model that leadership used to make decisions, and you're fluent in P&L, utilization and margin.
• You have run the operating rhythm for a leadership team (weekly meetings, scorecards, quarterly priorities).
• You have put AI or automation into a real team workflow and can show the result, beyond using it for your own productivity.
