[Hiring] Medical Recruitment Consultant @Employmate

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven 360 Healthcare Recruitment Consultant to join a growing recruitment business supporting the Australian market. The successful candidate will have proven experience managing the complete recruitment lifecycle with specific expertise in recruiting doctors. This is a client facing role requiring excellent relationship management, business development and candidate engagement skills.

• Manage the complete 360 recruitment process from business development and client acquisition through to candidate placement and ongoing support.
• Build trusted relationships with healthcare clients and medical professionals.
• Understand client requirements and identify suitable doctor candidates.
• Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, recruitment platforms, databases and direct headhunting.
• Conduct detailed candidate screening and interviews to assess suitability, career goals and motivations.
• Present qualified candidate shortlists with clear recommendations.
• Coordinate interviews, manage feedback and negotiate employment offers.
• Develop new business opportunities and maintain existing client relationships.
• Achieve individual recruitment, placement and business development targets.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate information.

Qualifications

• Proven 360 recruitment experience covering both client and candidate management.
• Direct recruitment experience specifically within doctor recruitment.
• Strong business development and client relationship management capabilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Proven sourcing, interviewing and candidate assessment abilities.
• Strong negotiation, influencing and relationship building skills.
• Ability to provide trusted career advice to candidates.
• Confidence working independently within a target driven environment.
• Ability to learn complex information quickly.
• Commitment to working Australian business hours with flexibility for additional hours when doctors are available outside normal working hours.

Preferred Experience

• International recruitment experience is strongly preferred, particularly experience supporting clients across different time zones.
• Familiarity with JobAdder recruitment software would be advantageous.

Commission and Bonus Opportunity
