Role Description
Mixpanel's product marketing team is pivotal in launching new features, shaping messaging, and ensuring our products resonate with customers. We’re seeking a Product Marketing Manager who is customer-focused, skilled at research and content creation, and excels at bringing features to market. This person will work closely with product, sales, and marketing teams to execute go-to-market strategies, create content, and contribute to demand-generation campaigns.
- Support the planning and execution of go-to-market strategies for new features and product enhancements.
- Develop clear, customer-centric messaging and positioning that highlights the value and differentiation of Mixpanel’s features.
- Conduct research to uncover customer pain points, market trends, and opportunities.
- Create high-quality collateral such as product briefs, use cases, and training materials to empower sales teams.
- Partner with demand generation, content, and field marketing teams to contribute to integrated campaigns that drive feature awareness and adoption.
- Track and analyze the performance of feature launches, adjusting strategies and messaging as needed to optimize impact.
- Advocate for the customer by bringing their voice into messaging and product-related initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or analytics platforms.
- Experience with go-to-market planning, messaging, and launching features.
- Excellent writing and content creation abilities, with a focus on crafting compelling narratives.
- Strong research skills, with the ability to gather and analyze customer and market insights.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive alignment.
- Knowledge of product analytics or similar tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude) is a plus.
- Creative problem-solver with a customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering results.
Requirements
- The amount listed below is the total target cash compensation (TTCC) and includes base compensation and variable compensation in the form of either a company bonus or commissions.
- Variable compensation type is determined by your role and level.
- This position is also eligible for equity consideration and other benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage.
- Our salary ranges are determined by role and level and are benchmarked to the SF Bay Area Technology data cut released by Radford.
- The range displayed represents the minimum and maximum TTCC for new hire salaries for the position across all of our US locations.
- Individual pay is determined by experience, job-related skills, qualifications, and other factors.
