Role Description
The purpose of the Market Access Mgr – Hospital Economics is to develop and execute applied health economic “value creation & demonstration” strategies in support of:

Sales Organization and Marketing

Healthcare providers across hospitals (focus on C-Suite), IDN system, and surgeon/physician
This position will work to demonstrate the applied clinical/economic value of Intuitive technologies. Primary job responsibilities include:

Creating and disseminating clinical/economic materials
-
Conducting potential analysis, program benchmarking, and procedure analytics
-
Performing predictive and utility modeling, profitability analyses, return on investment, and business impact models
-
Developing market archetype segmentation strategies and strategic industry insights
-
Influencing and educating clinical/economic understanding among existing and potential hospital customers
-
Providing expert support and facilitation in presenting and defending clinical & economic evidence to a C-suite audience
Qualifications
-
Bachelors or Master’s degree preferably in Hospital or Healthcare Business Economics
-
6+ years’ relevant experience in health economics, marketing, sales, market development, healthcare consulting
-
Healthcare, pharma, medical device, or hospital/health system industry experience
-
Extensive experience in health economics, market and patient access, and interaction with hospital stakeholders and decision makers
-
Broad based experiences and working knowledge of French healthcare system and hospital providers
-
Solid understanding of disease and clinical pathways, inpatient and surgical treatment approaches
-
Demonstrated experience and comfort in presenting and defending evidence with key C-suite clinical and economic decision makers
-
Ability to manage regional health economic “thought leaders” and key subject matter expert relationships
-
Strong reporting, project management, analytical and prioritization skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau

Geographically located in France
-
Fluent in English
-
Travel 50% of the time

Demonstrated experience in performing customized economic assessment
Requirements

Ability to translate customer data into meaningful strategic recommendations

Identify and leverage best data sources for analysis

Perform evidence-based “Quantify The Impact” (QTI) analysis
-
Design and rollout training on QTI and analytics solutions for the sales force
-
Engineer specific health economic market assessments
-
Provide analytical and economic insights to support reimbursement strategy
-
Partner with Marketing, Sales, GAVE, and French Leadership to create evidence on Intuitive products
-
Provide regular voice-of-customer (VOC) feedback on clinical and economic challenges
