Role Description

The company is seeking a senior hands-on SEO operator to launch and grow a new black-hat SEO business unit. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Black-Hat SEO will own execution, budget allocation and P&L. Initially, this is predominantly an individual contributor role with substantial use of AI and automation. A small team may be built later as the unit develops.

  • Co-design the unit’s growth strategy with the CEO and execute it personally.
  • Manage the current monthly budget of US$30,000–80,000 across domains, content and tooling.
  • Build an AI-supported roadmap for launching and developing hundreds of websites per month.
  • Execute link-building strategies and manage domains, redirects, migrations and testing.
  • Identify and test opportunities across multiple GEOs.
  • Track costs, rankings, traffic, FTDs, revenue and overall unit performance.
  • Scale approaches that demonstrate positive commercial results.
  • Document processes and establish an operating model that can support a small team over time.

The supplied brief targets initial FTDs within 10–20 days and profitability within 4–5 months. Measurement definitions and milestones will need to be agreed.

Qualifications

  • A proven track record in competitive black-hat SEO environments.
  • Deep practical experience with domain auctions, drop-catching and expired-domain analysis.
  • Experience operating website networks at scale, including footprint hygiene across registrars, hosting and DNS.
  • Hands-on capability in domains, redirects, migrations, outreach and experimentation.
  • Ability to use AI and automation to increase execution capacity.
  • Strong commercial judgement, including budget management, ROI analysis and traffic monetisation.
  • An entrepreneurial approach, autonomy and ownership of business outcomes.
  • Fast, disciplined decision-making, supported by clear reporting and documentation.
