[Hiring] Conversion Rate Optimization Consultant @Remote Choice

Role Description

We are seeking an analytical, user-focused Ecommerce CRO Manager to take full ownership of our end-to-end conversion rate optimization strategy across all our 4 main websites. Your primary goal is to:

• Increase our ecommerce conversion percentage
• Lower customer acquisition costs (CAC)
• Maximize the ROI of our existing traffic

You will bridge the gap between data analytics, UX design, and development to build a relentless culture of testing and experimentation. Your performance will be measured by increases in current conversion % rates across all 4 sites, and you will be expected to submit a monthly report for each site showing:

• The results of your analysis
• Actions taken to improve conversion
• Actual increases in % conversion in terms of number of orders/purchases vs traffic

Additionally, you will be required to optimize the following areas:

• Research, create and install an improved and intuitive search bar for all 4 websites
• Create an improved filter/s to make the customer journey as simple and intuitive as possible
• Create a strategy to sell more of our products across more of the range
• Analyze what makes best-performing product content pages across both desktop and mobile to recreate across the other 90% of products

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing CRO programs specifically for high-growth B2C/B2B ecommerce platforms
• Deep expertise in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and its checkout funnels, alongside behavioural tools
• Hands-on experience using A/B testing
• Strong understanding of UX/UI best practices, web performance metrics (Core Web Vitals), and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Highly analytical, comfortable with data science/statistics, and inherently curious about consumer psychology

Requirements

• Conduct continuous quantitative audits (via GA4) and qualitative research (session recordings, heatmaps, and exit surveys) to pinpoint user friction points
• Own and maintain a prioritised A/B and multivariate testing roadmap tied to core commercial KPIs
• Brief and collaborate with UI/UX designers and front-end developers to bring experimental concepts to life
• Set up, launch, and monitor A/B tests using commercial testing tools
• Evaluate test results using statistical methods to confirm confidence levels before pushing winners live
• Maintain clear CRO dashboards and communicate learnings to the wider business, explaining the why behind user behaviours
