Role Description
Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a full time Senior Contracts Administrator. This position is based out of our Bridgeton, MO facility and will have the option to work an in person or remote schedule. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of Government and Commercial contracts, including:

Proposal development and submission

Contract negotiation

Ongoing administration
The position ensures all contractual documents align with company policies, meet applicable government specifications and requirements, and accurately reflect identified risks or areas of concern. It provides strategic contractual guidance to Integrated Product Teams and responds to inquiries related to contract obligations or modifications.

Prepares and submits compliant Truthful Cost or Pricing Data proposals

Negotiates terms and conditions

Monitors contract performance

Ensures consistent adherence to contractual requirements
Qualifications
-
Bachelorβs degree in a related discipline
-
5+ years of experience administering Prime US Government contracts, FMS contracts, and/or Commercial contracts

NCMA Certified Contracts Professional (CFCM, CPCM) preferred
-
Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
-
Strong understanding of contract/purchase order terms and conditions

Comprehensive knowledge of the terms and conditions appropriate for different contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, T&M, IDIQ, etc.)

Advanced knowledge of government intellectual property (IP)/ software and data rights clauses

Advanced knowledge of source selection/evaluation process including cost and price analysis

Knowledge of requirements for and experienced in administration of government property
-
Detailed knowledge of government contract administration duties

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Contract/agreement briefing, negotiation and review experience
-
Experience in monitoring contracts/subcontracts of increasing complexity and value
-
General computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
Requirements

Administer and monitor contract performance on major government contracts
-
Conduct the negotiation and administration of agreements between the company/customers/subcontractors/vendors
-
Responsible for reviewing contract solicitation terms and handling contract award confirmations
-
Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements
-
Respond to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions
-
Provide fulfillment of contract deliverables, billings and cash collections
-
Conduct proposal preparation for customer requirements
-
Prepare and analyze major price proposals
-
Participate in TINA implementation/sweeps
-
Prepare teaming agreements, MOUs, MOAs, and other contractual agreements
-
Prepare contractual documents and assemble contract documentation package
-
Participate in management review of proposals/contracts
-
Assist in the preparation of export license applications
-
Assist with subcontract negotiation and management
-
Support, communicate, reinforce and defend DRSβ mission, values and culture
