[Hiring] Legal Counsel - Commercial @Glassbox Ltd.

Role Description

Join Glassbox's global legal team as our US Commercial Counsel, where you will partner closely with business leaders to negotiate strategic commercial agreements, provide practical legal advice, and help drive business growth in a fast-paced SaaS environment. This is a high-impact role offering significant ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to influence key commercial decisions.

• Serve as the primary lawyer responsible for all US & EU commercial matters.
• Work directly with the business, serving as lead counsel on strategic deals and compliance issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including but not limited to complex SaaS, vendor & partnership agreements.
• Work cross functionally across the company to analyze legal risks and work closely with a global team across multiple time zones.
• Resolve commercial disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation.

Qualifications

• A Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in the bar of at least one US state.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience as a commercial lawyer, with in-house legal experience required; additional law firm experience is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of contract law, commercial law & corporate law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner in fully remote work environments.
• Proven negotiation skills with a track record of successfully closing commercial deals.
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment handling multiple priorities effectively. Prior startup technology company experience strongly preferred.
• Highly independent and proactive, with the ability to identify issues and drive matters forward with limited oversight.
• Comfortable using Slack, Salesforce, Chamelio, Zoom and other digital collaboration tools as primary communication channels.
