Role Description

We are seeking detail-oriented Junior Lawyers to contribute legal expertise to an AI training project focused on improving the accuracy and reliability of legal AI systems. The role involves:

• Reviewing legal documents, verifying citations, evaluating legal arguments, and refining legal writing to ensure accuracy and compliance with U.S. legal standards.
• Reviewing and annotating legal documents, agreements, and case law for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with U.S. legal standards.
• Conducting legal cite-checking and ensuring strict adherence to Bluebook citation guidelines.
• Curating, editing, and evaluating legal writing samples for AI training datasets.
• Assessing legal arguments, logical structure, and the appropriate use of precedent in sample documents.
• Summarizing complex legal concepts in clear, concise, and structured language.
• Collaborating remotely with project managers and legal experts to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Validating AI-generated legal content for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with established legal practices.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a U.S. law school. Current law students may also qualify, with a strong preference for candidates affiliated with T14 law schools.
• Experience as a law review or legal journal editor, with demonstrated editorial excellence. This qualification is required for law student applicants.
• Exceptional Bluebook citation and legal cite-checking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in legal document review, legal research, analysis, or paralegal work within the U.S. legal system.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver accurate work within established timelines.
• Interest in legal technology, innovation, and AI applications in legal research and practice.
