Role Description

We are seeking experienced Product Safety & Regulatory Compliance Attorneys to contribute legal expertise to an AI training project focused on product safety and regulatory compliance. The role involves:

• Analyzing regulations
• Reviewing compliance documentation
• Evaluating legal scenarios
• Providing expert feedback to improve the accuracy and reliability of AI-generated content

Prior AI experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification, preferably with a focus on product safety, consumer protection, or regulatory compliance
• Significant experience advising on federal, state, and international product safety regulations, including applicable CPSC, EU, FDA, or similar regulatory requirements
• Strong ability to interpret and communicate complex legal and regulatory concepts clearly
• Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience drafting and reviewing technical documents, compliance policies, or legal opinions related to product safety
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving project requirements
• Interest in emerging technologies and applying legal expertise to AI-related initiatives

Requirements

• Review and interpret product safety laws, regulations, and standards across multiple jurisdictions
• Draft, edit, and evaluate regulatory compliance documents, legal opinions, and related materials
• Provide detailed written assessments of product safety case studies and compliance scenarios
• Evaluate product compliance strategies and recommend improvements or risk mitigation measures
• Translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, practical guidance
• Identify compliance gaps, potential risks, and their legal implications
• Develop and review structured legal content to support AI model training and evaluation
