[Hiring] Commercial Contracts Attorney @Frink-Hamlett

Role Description

A global pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Attorney to support its legal team. This is a fully remote, part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week. The hourly rate is $100–$115 per hour, plus benefits.

This Commercial Contracts Attorney will focus on:

• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a variety of commercial and operational agreements.
• Partnering with internal business teams to provide practical legal guidance and manage risk.

Additional duties include:

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, consulting and professional services agreements, vendor and supplier contracts, SaaS/software agreements, data-related agreements, distribution agreements, licensing agreements, and procurement contracts.
• Advise internal stakeholders on contract interpretation, risk allocation, and compliance requirements.
• Identify legal, regulatory, operational, and commercial risks.
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, IT, Facilities, Compliance, and other business teams.
• Provide practical, business-focused legal advice in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
• 5–8 years of legal experience, including significant commercial contracting experience.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and issue-spotting skills.
• Ability to independently manage a high volume of complex agreements and competing priorities.
• Strong business judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, healthcare, or another highly regulated industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with FDA-regulated environments, healthcare compliance, privacy and data protection, technology matters, and pharmaceutical industry contracting practices is also desirable.
