Role Description

Our Sugar Land office is seeking a litigation-minded Associate Attorney to help defend a broad portfolio of general liability matters. If you thrive on building cases from the ground up and want real courtroom exposure early in your career, this is a chance to do meaningful work alongside experienced trial attorneys in a collaborative, in-person environment. Open to Remote candidates in Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio!

• Manage your own docket of general liability files from intake through resolution.
• Develop case strategy, draft pleadings and dispositive motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare matters for mediation and trial.
• Work closely with senior partners and maintain consistent client contact.
• Handle premises liability, bodily injury, and property damage claims.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of civil litigation experience, ideally in general liability or defense work.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas.
• Comfortable managing a docket independently while collaborating with a trial team.
