[Hiring] SMB HR Professionals: Interview on Payroll Systems @Terac

Role Description

We are running a paid study on the landscape of SMB payroll and human resources software. Our goal is to understand how different business segments choose their platforms, which features they rely on most, and where current solutions fall short. This feedback directly informs how future administrative tools are built and positioned in the market.

You will participate in a remote, one-on-one video interview to discuss your company's payroll and HR software stack. We will ask you to walk through your typical administrative workflows, highlighting which specific features you use daily or weekly. You will also review high-level concepts and share your candid thoughts on how different competitor platforms compare. The conversation will focus heavily on usability, system integration, and overall market dynamics.

Qualifications

• Active HR professional, payroll manager, or operations leader at an SMB
• Direct experience using or administering modern payroll and HR platforms
• Familiarity with the competitive landscape of HR software
• Comfortable discussing administrative workflows and software feature utilization

Requirements

• Walk us through your current HR and payroll software stack
• Detail how you utilize specific features for managing employee data and compensation
• Compare your current tools against other platforms you have evaluated or used in the past
• Discuss the unique challenges and workflow needs of managing HR in an SMB environment
