Role Description

An Exciting Opportunity to Join a Specialist Medical Communications Recruitment Business!

This is a recruitment role within the medical communications sector, working across a specialist UK client and candidate market.

• You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own desk, develop relationships and identify new opportunities.
• You’ll manage the recruitment lifecycle from identifying and engaging specialist candidates through to managing client relationships, taking briefs, delivering searches and successfully closing placements.
• There will also be a strong commercial element to the role, encouraging you to develop your own client relationships and win new business.
• You’ll receive a 10% annual revenue share on clients you bring into the business.
• The business partners with some clients on an embedded basis for a monthly fee, giving you exposure to a more consultative and strategic style of talent acquisition.

Qualifications

• Previous recruitment experience, ideally within medical communications, life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceutical or another specialist professional market.
• A strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle.
• Commercial confidence and the ability to build genuine, long-term client relationships.
• Comfortable developing new business as well as managing existing relationships.
• Self-motivated and able to perform effectively in a fully remote environment.
• Consultative rather than transactional in approach.
• Someone who enjoys being trusted to get on with the job rather than being heavily managed.
• Ambitious, commercially minded and interested in helping to grow a specialist recruitment business.

Requirements

• Salary up to £35,000 for an experienced Senior Consultant.
• Fully remote working.
• Excellent commission structure – 25% on everything billed above a £5,000 threshold.
• 10% annual revenue share on clients you personally win.
• Average placement fees of approximately £8,000–£12,000.
• A highly specialist market with established relationships and credibility.
• Genuine autonomy to manage and develop your desk.
• Opportunity to work across both traditional contingent recruitment and embedded client solutions.
• Scope to grow with the business and potentially be part of its future expansion into the US market.
