Role Description

The Senior Recruiter plays an integral role in growing Playlist's pipeline of talent. This role identifies and works with internal and external candidates through the entire recruitment lifecycle, including:

• Sourcing
• Screening
• Interview setup
• Offers
• Negotiations
• Closing

The Senior Recruiter acts as a subject matter expert by staying current with recruiting best practices, changing trends, and strategic sourcing methodologies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Full lifecycle recruitment for external candidates with a focus on strategic hiring for high impact G&A roles.
• Engaging with candidates as a single point of contact and screening candidates for a full understanding of:
• Availability
• Interest levels
• Salary range
• Relocation needs
• Visa status
• Basic qualifications
• Assisting leadership in developing high level strategy that contributes to meeting company-wide hiring goals.
• Managing stakeholder expectations by presenting data that helps demonstrate a deep understanding of the available talent pool for hard to fill positions.
• Evaluating employment factors such as:
• Job experience
• Education
• Skills
• Training
• Fit with organization
• Future potential
• Building and maintaining a strong recruiting funnel by proactively identifying and building relationships with hard-to-find talent.
• Providing candidates with information regarding:
• Company culture
• Compensation
• Benefits
• Policies and procedures
• Building strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure hiring requirements are understood, anticipated, and met.
• Ensuring compliance with established procedures and applicable laws.
• Providing regular reports on the status of positions and presenting data and solutions, as needed.
• Effectively handling challenging and sensitive personnel situations, while maintaining confidentiality and exhibiting sound logic and judgment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working as a Full Lifecycle Recruiter
• Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and hire top talent
• Experience developing recruiting strategies that have contributed to the achievement of company-wide hiring goals
• Technical acumen including familiarity with commonly used programming languages, systems architecture, IT networking, and commonly used hardware and software tools
• Experience working cross-functionally with various teams such as Legal, HR, Compensation, Operations, etc.
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented and committed to continuous improvement
• Proven success sourcing and hiring for hard-to-fill roles in fast-paced tech organizations
• Confidence using applicant tracking systems (we use Greenhouse) and translating data into action
• Skilled at balancing strategic hiring goals with an excellent candidate experience
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide and influence with care
• Passion for building diverse teams and fostering equity through every stage of the hiring process
