Role Description

What we do:

• Support businesses across a broad range of industries, with particular expertise in NDIS and community-focused organisations.
• Provide practical, commercially realistic solutions tailored to client needs.

Across our team, our work includes:

• Industrial relations (IR): Interpreting legislation, modern awards and enterprise agreements, advising on employment obligations, and supporting clients through industrial disputes and Fair Work Commission matters.
• Employee relations (ER): Managing grievances, conducting workplace investigations, supporting clients with performance and misconduct concerns, and responding to general protections claims.
• Payroll remediation: Auditing payroll compliance, identifying and calculating underpayments, and helping clients rectify issues and prevent them from happening again.
• HR and payroll systems implementation: Implementing and improving platforms such as Employment Hero, ELMO and other systems, including process design, configuration, testing and training.
• HR consulting: Supporting the employment lifecycle through day-to-day advice, outsourced HR management, tailored documentation and strategic projects.

At our heart, we’re a team of self-confessed HR, IR and ER nerds who enjoy untangling complex problems and turning them into clear, actionable advice.

Qualifications

• Extensive (minimum 10 years’) experience operating as a HR professional, ideally with a consulting background.
• Proven ability to provide accurate and practical advice across a wide range of topics.
• Strong knowledge of Awards with demonstrated expertise in accurate interpretation and application.
• Exceptional attention to detail, professional writing style, and Microsoft Office skills.
• A client-centric mindset with a strong focus on delivering excellent service.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen and sound decision-making skills.
