Role Description

We're looking for a Recruiter who loves the full cycle of bringing great people into great companies. You'll be the engine behind search execution for PCT's clients, companies ranging from pre-seed to pre-IPO, taking roles from intake through sourcing, screening, and close, alongside a team that runs on AI-native tools and creative sourcing.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on momentum, enjoys managing several searches at once, and gets satisfaction from putting the right candidate in front of a hiring manager quickly. You'll work across technical and go-to-market roles, including searches PCT supports through partner platforms like Paraform.

You'll be part of a small, focused recruiting team within PCT, working with a team lead and alongside our Talent Partners, Talent Engineers, and Technical Sourcers.

Note: This role is fully remote and open to candidates outside the US, but will require on average 4-5 hours of overlap a day within the 9-6pm PT timezone due to client, team, and candidate overlap.

What You'll Own

• Search Execution: Work a portfolio of roles across PCT's clients and partner platforms like Paraform, from understanding the role through sourcing, screening, submission, and close.
• Role Selection & Prioritization: Evaluate open roles quickly and focus your time where you can win. You'll know which searches to go deep on, which to work lightly, and which to skip.
• Speed to Submit: Deliver a shortlist of qualified, interested candidates within days, not weeks. Speed and quality both matter.
• Sourcing: Find candidates using Juicebox, Pin, Ashby, and other AI sourcing tools, along with creative, multi-channel outreach that goes beyond LinkedIn.
• Screening & Submissions: Conduct screening calls that assess skills, motivation, and compensation fit, then write clear, compelling candidate summaries that make it easy for hiring managers to say yes.
• Candidate Experience: Keep candidates informed and engaged throughout the process, manage expectations around compensation and timing, and help close offers.
• Client & Platform Communication: Send clear, timely updates to hiring managers and through Paraform, raising risks early, such as misaligned compensation, unclear criteria, or slow feedback.
• Pipeline Tracking: Keep accurate records in Ashby and Paraform, and track your submission-to-interview and interview-to-offer ratios so you know what's working.
• Outreach Testing: Experiment with messaging and channels, share what works with the team, and help improve our contingency playbook.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting, with a meaningful part of that in agency or other fast-paced, placement-driven environments.
• You can share your numbers, such as placements per quarter, submission-to-hire ratio, or time to first submission, and you're proud of them.
• Experience with Paraform or similar recruiting marketplaces is a plus.
• Comfortable recruiting for technical roles (Engineering, Product, Data) and go-to-market roles (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success).
• Strong Boolean, research, and outreach skills.
• You use AI tools like Claude every day for research, outreach drafting, and screening prep.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• You manage your own pipeline, prioritize without being told, and stay consistent when results take time.

Requirements

• You prefer a guaranteed salary. Your earnings here come from placements.
• You've only worked in-house and haven't experienced the pace of agency-style recruiting.
• You prefer working on one or two searches at a time rather than juggling a portfolio.
• You mostly rely on inbound applicants or LinkedIn Recruiter alone.
• You haven't used AI tools beyond basic ChatGPT prompts.
• You need daily direction to stay productive.

Contract Terms

This is an independent contractor role. There is strong potential for extension and growth as this team grows, including opportunities to take on larger accounts or a team lead role.
