Role Description

This role supports recruitment efforts on the Outpatient and Allied Health recruitment team and includes responsibilities for recruiting both clinical and non-clinical roles. The Recruiter is accountable for the Geisinger talent acquisition strategies and programs related to acquisition, selection, joining and retention of talent for assigned customers and/or positions. The Recruiter is also a critical key member in terms of achieving system/regulatory compliance objectives and quality of hire/retention goals. The Recruiter will play a strong role in executing defined talent acquisition strategies.

Job Duties

• Collaborates with Hiring Manager to conduct intake session prior to posting a new position.
• Develops job postings to market the position to a targeted audience.
• Coordinates the development and implementation of validated assessments related to behavioral and skill assessments.
• Conducts behavioral-based interviews and partners with HR Generalist and OD Specialist.
• Calculates and recommends starting rates and compensation for candidates.
• Presents verbal and written offers to candidates as a Total Rewards package.
• Collaborates with compensation specialist as needed.
• Maintains current knowledge of regulations, laws, and policies impacting specific positions.
• Creates and implements standard work for an exceptional candidate visit experience.
• Partners with key stakeholders for a well-coordinated onboarding experience.
• Develops creative programs and strategies to retain and engage talent in high turnover areas.
• Utilizes reports and analytics to enhance the first 90 days of employment.
• Develops and distributes standardized check-in electronic surveys for newly hired employees.
• Utilizes data to measure and interpret each phase of the first 90 days.

Position Details

We are seeking candidates for two Recruiter openings supporting a variety of clinical service lines across Geisinger, such as Laboratory Medicine and ambulatory services, including primary care and specialty clinics. Education

• Bachelor's Degree-Human Resources Management (Required).
• Master's Degree- (Preferred).

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years-Related work experience (Required).
