Role Description

We are looking for a Recruiter to join our HR Team. This is a remote position based in Calgary, AB. This is a contract position with an initial term of 3 months. Upon successful completion of the contract, there is potential for extension to a permanent position.

Primary Function:

• Support CRMR's talent acquisition efforts across all properties.
• Responsible for identifying, attracting, and securing top talent while providing an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Screen applicant resumes, conduct interviews to assess candidate fit, moving top talent forward.
• Provide professional applicant status updates and respond to all candidates promptly and courteously.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership team on role criticality, interview process, and candidate assessments.
• Prepare and extend employment offers, successfully closing candidates and promoting smooth onboarding.
• Conduct reference checks.
• Maintain accurate recruitment data.
• Represent the company at job fairs and networking events.
• Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to build talent pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Other additional HR support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality industry is a must.
• Knowledge of Banff and Lake Louise labour market conditions and trends is an asset.
• Hospitality degree/diploma graduate is an asset.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Customer service mindset with a passion for helping others.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Positive, solution-oriented approach to challenges.
• Enthusiasm for our mountain resort properties and company culture.
