[Hiring] HR Assistant @Allied Global Marketing

Role Description

Allied Global Marketing is looking for a temporary, part-time Human Resources Assistant to join our 4-person HR team for a period of 5-8 weeks. The HR Assistant will perform document and data extraction from HR systems and assist with other projects as necessary. Our ideal candidate has a basic understanding of HR processes, is a team player, and is eager to jump in and learn. This position reports into our Boston, MA office.

Work Environment:

• Remote (U.S.), be able to work East Coast hours
• Hours: up to 25 hours a week
• Term: 5-8 weeks
• Background check: The finalist for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extracts, organizes, and files pay statements and other documents from HR system.
• Provides support for Human Resources operations (i.e. data entry, onboarding, benefits administration, reporting, auditing, personnel record management, recruiting, offboarding).
• Maintains personnel files and the integrity of employee data.
• Assists with HR projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Relevant Human Resources, administrative, or customer service experience.
• Basic knowledge of Human Resources practices and labor laws.
• Experience entering data, extracting data and documents quickly and accurately.
• Proficient with the MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AI tools and their application across strategy development, research, ideation, media analysis, reporting, presentation development, and account workflow.

• Organized, detail-oriented, adaptable.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to use AI responsibly, including evaluating accuracy, protecting confidential information, and applying appropriate human review and judgment.

Benefits

• Pay rate: $16-$25/hour, commensurate with experience.
