Role Description

Join our People & Culture team and help create meaningful employment opportunities for First Nations peoples across Australia. As the First Nations Partnerships & Employment Consultant, you'll build trusted relationships with communities, organisations, and employment partners while supporting culturally safe recruitment and employment practices. Working closely with recruitment, People & Culture, operational leaders, and community stakeholders, you'll play a key role in:

• Building and maintaining trusted partnerships with First Nations communities, organisations, and employment providers
• Supporting culturally safe recruitment, onboarding, and employment practices
• Coaching leaders and hiring teams on culturally responsive recruitment approaches
• Contributing to employment initiatives aligned with reconciliation commitments
• Monitoring employment outcomes and providing insights to support continuous improvement
• Engaging with First Nations colleagues to support retention, development, and inclusion

Qualifications

• Experience working with First Nations communities, organisations, or employment programs
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
• Knowledge of recruitment, workforce development, onboarding, or employment services
• A commitment to culturally safe and inclusive practices
• Excellent communication, advocacy, and collaboration skills
• The ability to identify barriers and develop practical solutions that improve employment outcomes

Requirements

• Part-time role - 3 days per week
