[Hiring] Senior Revenue Accountant @EPAM Systems

Role Description

Join the EPAM team as a Senior Revenue Accountant and elevate your career to new heights! This position covers revenue accounting transactions, general ledger postings, contract analysis, and month-end close activities. You will support accounting operations for the LATAM region while operating in a global financial setting aligned with international financial reporting standards.

You will become a key member of our Revenue Accounting team, partnering with colleagues across various countries and supporting region-specific accounting processes and transactions.

• Prepare and manage GL entries, covering revenue, accruals, deferrals, and reclassifications
• Review client contracts and confirm financial terms for accurate accounting treatment
• Issue invoices and log related accounting entries in line with client contracts
• Assist with month-end procedures
• Support annual and interim audit requests
• Interact with customers and businesses through email or telephone
• Guarantee the accuracy and completeness of accounting records and supporting documentation
• Collaborate with regional and local teams on LATAM-specific invoicing and accounting documentation requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a comparable field
• 3+ years of background in accounting or finance
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, covering formulas and pivot tables
• Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or above
• Competency in Spanish suitable for daily work within the LATAM region

Requirements

• Understanding of local invoicing and accounting documentation requirements across Latin American countries
• Capability to rapidly absorb new processes and master new tools
• Skills in organization and multitasking, with the capability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
• Familiarity with IFRS and/or US GAAP
• Flexibility to use SAP or another ERP system
• Background in a multinational company or shared services setting
