Role Description

ProfitShare Partners is seeking a qualified Remote Accounting Operations Specialist to support daily accounting activities, financial record management, transaction processing, and account reconciliation. This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity for an accounting professional with at least two years of relevant experience.

The successful candidate will assist with:

• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• Invoice processing
• Financial reporting
• Bank reconciliations
• General ledger support
• Digital financial records management

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance administration, or a related position
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial transaction procedures
• Practical experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations
• Understanding of financial reporting, invoice management, and general ledger processes
• Experience using accounting software, financial management systems, and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of financial documentation, internal controls, and record-keeping procedures
• Relevant accounting education, diploma, or professional qualification is an advantage

Requirements

• Process, review, and record financial transactions accurately and within established deadlines
• Manage invoice processing, payment documentation, and accounts payable records
• Support accounts receivable activities, payment tracking, and outstanding account follow-ups
• Perform bank reconciliations and review account balances for discrepancies
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting financial schedules
• Review financial documents to confirm completeness, accuracy, and appropriate authorization
• Assist with monthly financial reporting and month-end accounting procedures
• Investigate transaction discrepancies and coordinate resolutions with relevant departments
• Maintain organized electronic accounting records and supporting documentation
• Support expense tracking, transaction monitoring, and routine financial administration
• Follow internal accounting procedures, confidentiality requirements, and financial controls
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows and operational efficiency
