[Hiring] Training Specialist @Bible Study Fellowship

Role Description

If you love training and supporting a group of Teaching Leaders who provide a weekly deep dive into God’s Word, this Training Specialist role invites you into a joyful journey of impact across BSF’s ministry!

The Training Specialist provides practical and spiritual support to a remote team of group leaders by developing, coordinating and conducting live and online training to improve leaders’ skills and knowledge. This role serves as a key link between Headquarters and the field, ensuring alignment with BSF’s mission, vision, and policies while equipping leaders to thrive in ministry.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Teach the Bible by conducting and leading training events.
• Provide spiritual encouragement and coaching to both Headquarters staff and BSF classes.
• Collaborate with the Ministry Development team on the direction of training for field support of all class models and leadership positions.
• Support Regional Directors and Area Personnel with training resources.
• Lead training events and coach trainees.
• Coach and/or give Global Lectures as requested.

Qualifications

• Personal faith in Jesus Christ and agreement with BSF’s Statement of Faith, policies, and values.
• Minimum 3 years of computer literacy with proven proficiency in videoconferencing and chat and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Minimum 2 years of BSF Teaching Leader experience or 3 years of BSF Area Personnel experience.
• Experience providing skill and leadership training to adults across generations.
• Copyediting and SharePoint skills helpful.
• Articulate and Docebo skills helpful.
• Availability to travel.
