Role Description
As a MCORT Master’s Level Supervisor (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSW, LAC, or LAMFT), you will join an evidence-based program and a dynamic team to:

Provide remote backup to the MCORT staff in the field.

Be on-call for up to six MCORTs across a region at one time.

Engage when a bachelor's level professional deems it necessary to assess and determine appropriate interventions.
Essential Job Functions
-
Create and maintain a wellness and recovery-oriented environment using person-first language and respectful documentation.

Promote wellness and recovery outcomes for persons receiving MCORT services.
-
Ensure compliance with internal and external policies, regulations, laws, and ethical standards.

Respond immediately to the MCORT Bachelor's Crisis Intervention Specialist for clinical guidance during crisis intervention.

Provide necessary assessments via remote technology, including mini mental status, PHQ9, C-SSRS, Zero Suicide, or other tools.

Support teams in providing thorough crisis intervention services, including engagement, crisis de-escalation, and community resource referrals.

Assess situations based on qualifying questions during crisis dispatches and support the team and persons served.

Communicate with the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, law enforcement, or EMS when crises are unresolved.

Review crisis intervention plans and case notes, providing supervision and debriefing to the team.

Review and sign off on at least 20% of MCORT reports for quality assurance.

Attend peer supervision with other MCORT Master’s Level Supervisors to ensure program effectiveness.

Knowledge of resource linkage and follow-up protocols.

Familiarity with community partners and the crisis system in the region.
Qualifications
-
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
-
LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSW, LAC, or LAMFT required.
Requirements
-
2 years post-master's full-time equivalent professional experience in a psychiatric setting with persons 18 and above.

At least one year of supervisory experience required.

Professionals with crisis setting experience preferred.
-
Valid driver’s license required.
-
No more than one moving violation.
