[Hiring] Lead Product Designer @Magic Eden

Role Description

We're building the most fun crypto-native casino and sportsbook on the market, and we're looking for a Lead Product Designer to own the experiences that get players in the door, keep them coming back, and make them feel taken care of.

This is a growth role, not a surface-polish role:

• You'll design onboarding, first-deposit flows, rewards and progression, challenges and races, and lifecycle messaging.
• You'll be measured on player behavior, not on how the mocks look, though the mocks should be beautiful too.

You should find gambling genuinely interesting, not just the UI of it:

• The psychology of anticipation, near-misses, streaks, progression, and loss aversion.
• Understand the difference between well-designed and badly-designed reward schedules.

You should also be AI-native in a way that shows:

• Things you've actually built: working prototypes instead of static mocks.
• Tools that do real work, side projects that only exist because AI made them possible.

This is a hands-on lead role:

• You'll raise the bar for design across the product and mentor other designers.
• You'll still be the best individual contributor in the room.

Applicants must submit a portfolio, along with one thing you've built with AI and a few sentences on what you learned making it.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product design on consumer products.
• Experience in a hyper-growth startup with demonstrable impact.
• Genuine passion for iGaming, casino, sportsbook, or poker.
• Fluency in behavioral psychology.
• Demonstrated AI-native building experience.
• Exceptional craft in modern, distinctive UI.
• Comfort with crypto and Web3 mechanics.
• High autonomy and low ego.
• Sharp communication skills.

Requirements

• A growth track record in moving real metrics: activation, conversion, retention, monetization.
• Ability to walk through hypothesis, design, result, and lessons learned.
• Mastery of Figma and relevant prototyping tools.

Benefits

• A fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Competitive compensation and equity package.
• Flexible PTO.
• Remote-first company.
