[Hiring] Product Designer @Time to hire

Role Description

For my client, an established direct-to-consumer home decor brand, I’m looking for a talented Product Designer to join the team on a long-term basis. The company creates distinctive wooden home decor for customers primarily in the US, with a strong focus on wall art alongside selected freestanding pieces. We’re looking for someone who combines a strong design eye with commercial thinking and hands-on AI skills — someone who can turn ideas and market insights into products customers genuinely want to buy.

Your main responsibility will be to develop new, sellable physical products from idea to launch.

• Identify promising product opportunities through a mix of market and competitor research, emerging trends, existing bestsellers, and your own creative ideas.
• Create and visualize new product concepts using AI image-generation tools.
• Refine ideas into commercially viable product directions.
• Collaborate with CAD designers to translate concepts into manufacturable designs.
• Work with suppliers and factories throughout sampling and development.
• Coordinate with the content and advertising teams to prepare products for launch.
• Manage several product concepts and development projects in parallel.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI image generation, using tools such as Nano Banana, Adobe Firefly, Flux or similar.
• Experience designing physical products — not solely graphic, digital or UX/UI design.
• A strong eye for aesthetics, form and commercial product design, demonstrated through a portfolio.
• Highly organized, reliable and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluent English.

Requirements

• Experience in home decor, furniture, interiors or lifestyle products.
• A background working with wood, handcrafted products or similar materials.
• A strong understanding of US home decor trends and customer preferences.
• Experience collaborating with factories, manufacturers or suppliers, including product sampling and iterations.
