Role Description

We're looking for an internal AI Video Editor & Performance Creative Specialist to support a project creating engaging 30–60-second video advertisements for Meta (Facebook and Instagram). You'll combine existing founder-led footage with AI-generated B-roll, motion graphics, graphic overlays and other creative elements to produce polished, attention-grabbing ads. Beyond technical editing, we're looking for someone with a strong understanding of digital marketing and advertising who can bring creative input, apply effective storytelling and pacing, and understand what makes short-form ads engaging to their target audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video advertisements (30–60 seconds) for Meta platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.
• Combine founder footage with relevant and engaging AI-generated B-roll to support the messaging and storytelling.
• Create eye-catching graphic overlays, text animations, transitions and motion graphics.
• Use creative editing techniques, faster cuts and varied visual elements to maintain viewer attention.
• Source or generate relevant AI visuals and B-roll that feel natural, specific and aligned with the ad's message rather than generic stock footage.
• Apply marketing principles when editing ads, including strong hooks, storytelling, audience engagement and clear calls to action.
• Provide creative input on video concepts, visual approaches and ways to make advertisements more engaging.
• Ensure all video content aligns with the brand's messaging and visual identity.
• Deliver completed videos and revisions within agreed project timelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience editing short-form marketing videos, particularly paid social media advertisements.
• Strong understanding of Meta advertising creatives and what makes video ads engaging and effective.
• Hands-on experience using AI video generation tools to create B-roll, supporting visuals or other creative assets.
• Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar.
• Experience with motion graphics, animated text, graphic overlays and transitions.
• Strong storytelling skills, with an understanding of pacing, hooks and audience retention.
• Good creative judgement and the ability to turn a brief into engaging visual content.
• A portfolio demonstrating high-quality short-form video ads, preferably combining real footage, AI-generated visuals and motion graphics.
• Ability to work independently, manage project deadlines and incorporate feedback.

Preferred/Nice-to-Have

• Experience working with recruitment, professional services or B2B brands.
• Familiarity with AI creative tools such as Runway, Kling, Google Veo, Sora or similar.
• Experience creating and testing different ad variations, hooks and creative angles.
• Understanding of direct-response marketing and conversion-focused advertising.
