Role Description

As a Work From Home Tourism Specialist at EcoWay Voyagers, you'll play a pivotal role in promoting sustainable and responsible tourism practices while curating enriching travel experiences for our clients. Working remotely, you will leverage your expertise in tourism and passion for environmental conservation to create unforgettable journeys that prioritize both enjoyment and sustainability. Your responsibilities will include:

Client Consultation: Engaging with clients via phone, email, or video conference to understand their travel preferences, interests, and sustainability goals.
Destination Research: Conducting in-depth research on eco-friendly travel destinations, attractions, and accommodations to tailor recommendations to clients' interests and values.
Itinerary Design: Crafting customized travel itineraries that incorporate sustainable tourism principles, cultural immersion, and authentic experiences.
Community Engagement: Collaborating with local communities, conservation organizations, and eco-friendly businesses to develop sustainable tourism initiatives and support local economies.
Education and Advocacy: Educating clients about the importance of sustainable travel practices and advocating for responsible tourism behaviors during their journeys.
Logistics Coordination: Managing logistical aspects of travel arrangements, including transportation, accommodations, activities, and permits, while ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and sustainability criteria.
Customer Support: Providing ongoing support to clients throughout their travel experience, addressing any inquiries, concerns, or emergencies promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the tourism industry, travel planning, or sustainable travel advocacy is preferred.
Strong knowledge of global travel destinations, cultures, and attractions, with a focus on eco-friendly and off-the-beaten-path experiences.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey travel recommendations and interact with clients and partners.
Ability to anticipate and resolve travel-related issues and challenges with creativity and resourcefulness.
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in itinerary planning, logistics coordination, and client communication.
Genuine passion for sustainable tourism and environmental conservation, with a commitment to promoting responsible travel practices.
Proficiency in using travel booking platforms, CRM systems, and other travel-related software for itinerary planning and client communication.
