Role Description

We are currently looking for part-time Phone Project Assistants to work remotely for our Survey Operations Center in support of important national research projects.

• Conduct research interviews with study participants by telephone.
• Use a Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) system for all outreach.
• Follow standardized procedures and scripts verbatim to ensure study consistency across surveys.
• Enter survey responses into a database.
• Assist with other survey-related tasks as required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of prior customer service, call center, research, or interviewing experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to deal tactfully and diplomatically with all people.
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to reliability and high-quality productivity.
• Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week; weekend availability required.

Requirements

• Starting hourly pay rate of $17.20 with potential for benefits and paid time off.
• This position is categorized as on-call, and hours may vary based on project needs.
• Employment will be classified as on-call until the duration of the project(s) or need(s) is complete.
• Any offer of employment will be contingent upon passing a background check.
• Staff may be required to undergo security clearance as a condition of working on certain projects.
• If denied security clearance, Mathematica may choose to terminate employment.
