[Hiring] Project Assistant @Leidos

Role Description

We are seeking a Project Assistant specializing in Planning and Procurement supporting several contracts in our Lynnwood, WA office. The successful candidate will work directly with Program Managers and their teams to conduct production planning including:

• Development and management of Bills of Materials
• Creation of manufacturing orders
• Tracking material in Deltek Costpoint
• Submission of material quotes
• Submission and tracking of purchase requests through completion

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement and familiarity with price reasonableness, competitive bids in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
• Knowledge of cost-accounting standards and timely procurement action
• Familiarity with production planning including BOM management and manufacturing order creation, particularly using Deltek Costpoint
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work well with teammates, suppliers, and customers
• Knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office Products
• Ability to work with large PDF and Excel files
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work onsite in Lynnwood, WA or remote
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of prior relevant experience
• Strong experience working with large PDF files and Excel
• Experience working with Government Contract Procurement
• Must be able to obtain a Secret DoD clearance
