[Hiring] Business Development Representative @Skill Struck

Role Description

We're looking for a part-time Business Development Representative (BDR) to help identify and qualify new business opportunities for our sales team. It's a flexible, remote role built around cold calling, so it's a great fit for someone who wants meaningful part-time work they can do from home. Candidate must reside in Utah.

• Spend ~10-15 hours per week (2-3 hours per day) cold calling prospects, pitching Skill Struck, and scheduling follow-up meetings for our Account Executives.
• Prospects are primarily curriculum directors, instructional technology directors, and CTE directors at public school districts across the US.
• You'll use your own cell phone, but we'll connect it to HubSpot so prospects won't see your personal number.
• You'll get access to our HubSpot (CRM) with pre-built call lists ready to crank through.
• Onboarding is short. We'll train you on the basics and expect you to learn quickly as you call.
• You'll join a Slack channel where you can ask questions and get quick answers when you hit roadblocks.
• You may occasionally be invited to internal meetings, but the default is to spend as close to 100% of your time as possible making calls.
• Your initial goal is 10 meetings per month, or 2-3 per week.
• Work from anywhere, as long as there's no background noise and you have reliable cell/internet access.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably B2B or EdTech (Nice to Have, Not Required).
• Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., HubSpot, Outreach, SalesLoft) (Nice to Have, Not Required).
• Experience in K-12 Education Technology (Nice to Have, Not Required).

Benefits

• $15 per hour.
• $50 bonus for every meeting booked.
