[Hiring] Business Development Representative @Dotdigital

Role Description

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a targeted, commissioned role on the new business team in the Americas. Your job is to find and qualify leads and turn them into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) for our Sales team to close, by uncovering Budget, Authority, Need, and Timeframe. You'll build and manage your own list of prospects across a wide range of businesses.

• Build strong working relationships with Leadership, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and fellow BDRs.
• Have a monthly SQL target; commission is based on the number of SQLs passed to Sales that get accepted.
• Be curious about the people you're talking to, willing to try new approaches, and quick to learn from what works and what doesn't.
• Work inbound leads assigned in our CRM quickly and efficiently, and prospect and qualify your own outbound accounts.
• Track conversations and opportunities with marketers about their email, SMS, and multichannel marketing needs.

Requirements

• Experience with tools like HubSpot, Salesloft, or ZoomInfo (bonus points).
• General understanding of ecommerce, SaaS, or marketing technology (bonus points).
• Any customer-facing experience, such as retail, hospitality, or customer service (bonus points).
• Spanish-language proficiency, written and spoken (bonus points).

Interview Process

• 15 minute screening call with Team Talent.
• Interview with the Hiring Manager, including roleplay.
• Interview with the Head of Sales.
• Final panel stage interview.
