[Hiring] Business Development Representative @Aegis AI

Role Description

We’re looking for a high-output, curious, and relentless BDR to help put AegisAI on the map. Your mission is simple and hard: create qualified pipeline. You’ll be the first human touch for many prospects and a critical signal to the market that AegisAI is a serious new player in email security. You’ll work closely with AEs, founders, and marketing to connect outbound, inbound, PLG signals, and partner leads into real sales conversations. This is not a “follow the script” role. We want AI-native BDRs who can think, test, adapt, and win.

What You’ll Do

• Generate net-new pipeline through outbound (email, phone, LinkedIn, creative channels)
• Qualify inbound and product-led signals into sales-ready meetings
• Research target accounts and tailor outreach to security and IT leaders
• Clearly articulate why AI-native email security is fundamentally different from legacy tools
• Partner tightly with AEs to convert meetings into real opportunities
• Continuously test messaging, sequences, and targeting — and share what works
• Maintain clean CRM hygiene and accurate pipeline reporting

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of BDR / SDR experience in B2B SaaS
• Proven ability to consistently hit or exceed meeting and pipeline targets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort selling to technical buyers (security, IT, engineering)
• Self-starter who doesn’t wait for perfect instructions
• Coachable, curious, and competitive

Bonus Points

• Experience in security, email security, or infrastructure SaaS
• Familiarity with PLG signals or usage-based selling
• Experience at an early-stage startup
• Comfort experimenting with AI tools for prospecting and personalization
