[Hiring] Business Development Representative @The Groove

Role Description

The BDR is the front line of The Groove’s sales organization. This role is responsible for:

• Identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients
• Creating strong first impressions in the market
• Helping build a healthy pipeline for Client Relationship Executives and sales leadership

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, recruiting, customer success, account management, or another customer-facing role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to be clear, concise, and professional in outreach
• Ability to build rapport quickly and communicate value in a way that feels authentic and relevant to the prospect
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple leads, follow-ups, and priorities at once
• Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment
• Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools preferred; HubSpot experience is a plus
• Experience in consulting, technology, Workday, SaaS, professional services, or partner-led sales environments is helpful but not required
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
