[Hiring] Business Development Manager @Simera

Role Description

This position hunts, identifies, and engages prospective clients to present and close new sales. This person must constantly learn new industries, understand customers’ needs and challenges, and demonstrate solutions that meet those needs. This is not an account management role, but specifically new sales development. From identifying prospective clients to presenting solutions to closing the deal, this person loves the hustle and has a drive to win.

• Finding, engaging, and closing new business opportunities
• Contacting both cold and pre-qualified prospects through phone, email, and social media strategies
• Maintaining high daily outbound activity
• Taking a consultative approach to selling and closing new business opportunities
• Maintaining accurate and current records of sales and activity in CRM system
• Meeting daily and monthly activity and sales volume goals

Qualifications

• Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years of experience in similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative as well as competitive environment
• Ability to work independently and productively, while self-managing time and activity
• Ability to maintain a positive and optimistic attitude
• Be friendly, enthusiastic, and have a “go-getter” mindset
• Experience in GPS, logistics, or fleet related field preferred
• Experience in SaaS product selling in the B2B space
