Role Description

Mercury Signs, Inc. is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Sign Project Estimator/Consultant/Manager to join our team in a remote capacity. This is a dynamic, multi-faceted role where you'll be at the heart of our sign projects — from initial client consultation and cost estimation all the way through project completion. • Prepare accurate cost estimates for custom sign projects including materials, labor, and installation focused on bid projects for multi-family housing, education, and corporate campuses.
• Consult with clients to assess signage needs, recommend solutions, and develop project scopes.
• Manage sign projects from kickoff through installation, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with design, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review blueprints, site plans, and specifications to inform accurate bidding and project planning.
• Maintain and grow client relationships through exceptional communication and follow-through.
• Track project timelines, budgets, and vendor/subcontractor performance.
• Ensure compliance with local permitting requirements and sign codes.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in sign industry estimating, project management, or sales/consulting.
• Strong understanding of sign fabrication methods, materials, and installation processes.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software, project management tools; experience with SignAgent a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret site plans, architectural drawings, and specifications.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
