Role Description

Avalere Health is seeking a Consultant II with demonstrated intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm to contribute subject matter expertise to a variety of projects across our Evidence & Strategy practice.

• Lead complex workstreams within a project/engagement or small project teams.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact.
• Develop strategic recommendations.
• Mentor junior staff.
• Contribute to business development by identifying potential expansion opportunities.
• Design methodologies and analytic plans.
• Translate project scopes into executable research approaches.
• Lead technical delivery from scope to output.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor.
• Support the development of junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (MA/MS or PhD is desirable) in epidemiology, data science, health economics, health policy, pharmacy administration, statistics, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of life sciences consulting, healthcare, or pharmaceutical/device industry experience.
• Experience presenting research results at scientific conferences and/or a record of peer-reviewed publications.
