[Hiring] Patient Access Senior Consultant @Nordic Healthcare Group (NHG)

Role Description

The Patient Access service line is responsible for selling, creating, and delivering solutions and professional services to meet client needs. With mentorship from their direct supervisor, the Senior Consultant will work closely with healthcare providers on financial and operational improvements. Through thoughtful and excellent communication, the Senior Consultant is responsible for achieving engagement milestones, producing quality deliverables, supervising and training junior colleagues, as well as contributing to SAS solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, with a preference in business, healthcare administration, or industrial engineering
• 4+ years of in-depth healthcare experience in one or more Patient Access functions:
• Referrals and provider orders management
• Scheduling and provider template optimization
• Authorizations and registration
• Defined accomplishments achieved during their healthcare experience
• Excellent client communication skills, collaborative work style, and good interpersonal skills
• Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail
• Must demonstrate and embody Nordic’s maxims
• Flexible; able to quickly adapt to changing priorities and working with different employees and clients
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and other collaboration tools, including virtual meeting and cloud technologies
• Must be able to work independently as well as within a team environment

Requirements

• Ideal candidates will have experience in management consulting and the healthcare industry, specifically within patient access, front-end revenue cycle, and/or digital front door.
• EHR technical experience in one or more of the following access-related applications:
• Epic Cadence, Referrals, MyChart, Prelude, Grand Central, and ADT
• Meditech Authorization & Referral Management (ARM)
• Relevant Oracle Health (Cerner) applications
• In addition, experience in these areas will be given additional preference:
• Patient contact center centralization
• Patient access strategy
• Patient self-scheduling
• Digital front door technologies
• Process automation and exception-based workflows
