[Hiring] Independent Contractor - Lead Packaging Auditor @NSF International

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Food Safety Packaging Auditor to conduct GFSI-recognized food safety audits and partner with food manufacturers to strengthen compliance, quality, and consumer trust. In this highly visible role, you will serve as a trusted technical expert—evaluating food safety systems, communicating audit outcomes, and supporting continuous improvement across diverse client operations.

This role is ideal for a seasoned food safety quality professional who thrives in a dynamic, client-facing environment and is committed to the highest standards of food safety and audit integrity. We are looking for individuals with food packaging experience in SQF or BRC and want to upskill into FSSC 22000 Food Packaging.

Qualifications

• Experience in food safety and quality assurance.
• Familiarity with GFSI-recognized standards.
• Food packaging experience in SQF or BRC.
• Desire to upskill into FSSC 22000 Food Packaging.
