Role Description

If your idea of a perfect day involves comics, anime, horror, gaming, cosplay, and sci-fi—and you love the thrill of bringing epic fan experiences to life—welcome home.

We’re looking for a Content Coordinator to join our powerhouse team at FAN EXPO HQ and help shape the programming for the biggest pop culture events across the U.S. and Canada. You’ll be right in the fandom action, working with industry pros, fan communities, and creative minds to make each show more legendary than the last.

  • Teaming up with our Senior Content Coordinators to plan, schedule, and orchestrate on-site programming that fans will be talking about for years.
  • Keeping Show Management in the loop with updates, content schedules, and room assignments.
  • Hunting down the coolest community and industry partners to collaborate on programming that fans will lose their minds over.
  • Owning the fan experience by managing schedules, move-in instructions, and floor assignments for our community partners.
  • Bringing creative magic to developing and supporting our corporate programming obligations.
  • Keeping a pulse on the pop culture multiverse—researching trends, competitor events, and knowing exactly what gets fans hyped.
  • Pitching fresh ideas to make every event bigger, better, and more unforgettable than the last.

Qualifications

  • Passionate interest in various pop culture genres, including but not limited to Comics, Anime, Horror, Gaming, Cosplay, Sci-Fi & Fantasy.
  • Previous experience in designing, researching, facilitating, or managing attendee programming and related scheduling for events, organizations, or cultural institutions.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for collaboration and cross-functional teamwork.
  • Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel multiple times a year to event destinations within the US and Canada.
  • Experience managing staff and/or volunteers is highly desirable.
  • A college or university degree in communications, media, arts, or related fields is a plus.

Requirements

  • A wild love for pop culture—comics, anime, horror, gaming, cosplay, sci-fi & fantasy.
  • Experience designing, researching, or running attendee programming for events, cultural institutions, or anywhere fans gather to geek out.
  • A creative mind that can juggle multiple projects, manage details like a pro, and keep deadlines in check.
  • Top-tier communication skills—you’ll be working with everyone from fans to industry leaders.
  • A go-with-the-flow attitude—things move fast, plans change, and you’ll need to adapt.
  • Willingness to travel to some of the biggest pop culture events across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Experience managing staff and/or volunteers is a huge bonus.
  • A college or university degree in communications, media, arts, or related fields is cool, but your passion and experience are what really counts.

Benefits

  • The pay range for this position is $48,450.00 - $65,000.00 depending on experience.
  • Freedom & flexibility: colleagues rate us highly for the flexibility and trust they receive.
  • Great community: a welcoming culture with in-person and online social events.
  • Broader impact: take up to four days per year to volunteer, with charity match funding available.

  • Time out: 15 days PTO rising to 20 after three years and 25 after six years.
  • Competitive benefits, including a 401k match, health, vision and dental insurance, parental leave, and an ESPP offering company shares at a minimum 15% discount.
  • Strong wellbeing support through EAP assistance, mental health first aiders, free access to a wellness app and more.
  • Recognition for great work, with global awards and kudos programs.
  • As an international company, the chance to collaborate with teams around the world.
