Role Description

The Front-End Revenue Cycle Business Process Consultant serves as a strategic partner supporting revenue cycle initiatives that span multiple departments, workflows, systems, and stakeholders. This role is responsible for evaluating, optimizing, and transforming patient access and front-end revenue cycle operations through business process improvement, workflow redesign, data analysis, and Epic system optimization.

Working closely with Revenue Cycle Operations, Patient Access, Performance Improvement, and Information Technology teams, the consultant analyzes existing processes, identifies opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness, and develops scalable solutions that enhance financial performance, operational excellence, and the patient experience.

• Leading cross-functional initiatives related to Epic enhancements, automation, quality improvement, and revenue cycle transformation

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical problem solver who can bridge the gap between operational and technical teams, facilitate collaboration across departments, and drive measurable improvements through process optimization, data-driven decision-making, and system innovation.

Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of Epic Prelude and Cadence
• Experience serving as an internal or external healthcare consultant
• Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions that improve revenue cycle performance
• Strong technical acumen combined with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• A passion for leveraging technology, data, and process improvement methodologies to drive meaningful organizational change

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED Required
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• At least three (3) years experience with system design, process workflow design or business/systems consulting Required
• At least five (5) years experience with system design, process workflow design or business/systems consulting Preferred
• EPIC experience Preferred
• Revenue Cycle experience Preferred

Salary Range

$101,300.00 - $129,100.00 Annually. Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
