[Hiring] EPIC Analyst Level III @Tanner Health

Role Description

The Analyst III is the primary support contact for the application. They coordinate all issues that arise during the project for their application areas and must be very knowledgeable about the organization's policies, procedures, and business operations.

Qualifications

• Current Epic certification(s) or accreditation in area of support is preferred. Epic certification in other areas may be considered initially. If Epic certification(s) in area of support has not been obtained or has lapsed, certification(s) related to area of support must be achieved during first 90 days. Epic certification(s) in area of support must be kept current, completing NVT (new version training) and re-certification as required.
• Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Additional Epic Certifications or Accreditations and Badges preferred but not required.
• Analyst level and role specific qualifications outlined in the Information Technology Analyst Ladder policy.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience: Three years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.
• Licenses and Certifications: NONE REQUIRED

Functions

• Application Support: The Analyst III acts as the primary support contact for the application's end users. Responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring the ticket queue.
  • Reaching out to the end user to ensure clear understanding of reported issues.
  • Closing tickets in accordance with defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) guidelines.
  • Independently troubleshooting and resolving complex problems.
  • Providing assistance, information, and support to others.
  • Seeking opportunities to work on projects and collaborate with other teams.
• Application Maintenance and Monitoring: Responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring the day-to-day operability of the application.
  • Monitoring applicable work queues.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to maintain third-party applications.
  • Driving upgrade projects to timely completion.
  • Identifying what needs to be done proactively.
• Incident Maintenance: Responsibilities include:
  • Identifying and resolving system issues impacting integrity, safety, and availability.
  • Evaluating risk versus benefit and financial implications of changes.
  • Leading collaboration of cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
• Change Management: Responsibilities include:
  • Participating in Epic upgrade cycles.
  • Working with operations to implement new features.
  • Guiding workflow design and changes for compliance with requirements.
• Operational Engagement: Responsibilities include:
  • Serving as a liaison between operations, IT Department, and vendors.
  • Maintaining communication with operational contacts.
  • Anticipating customer needs and generating loyalty.
  • Leading meetings and contributing to organizational committees.

Compliance Statement
