Role Description

Are you a Change Management Strategist who is an expert at assessing and articulating the human impact of complex Enterprise-wide implementations? Our large Alberta-based financial client is seeking a Change Management Specialist for a 12 month contract.

• Client: Financial Services
• Duration: 12 months with a possibility for an extension
• Location: Remote
• Pay Rate: $79-95/hr INC

Responsibilities Core Accountabilities:

• Change Strategy Execution: Architect and execute comprehensive change strategies encompassing both client engagement and internal team member readiness.
• Risk, Impact & Readiness Assessment: Evaluate change complexity, identify impacted stakeholders, mitigate risks, and advise on readiness metrics to ensure successful go-lives.
• Cross-Functional Consultation: Partner with a diverse array of enterprise experts and leadership to navigate personnel dynamics, identify client needs, and formulate tailored recommendations.
• Organizational Alignment: Clearly articulate overarching business goals and the case for change.
• Sponsorship Enablement: Equip stakeholders with the strategies and tools necessary to execute their sponsorship plans effectively.
• Problem Solving: Resolve complex challenges using data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
• Transition & Sustainment Planning: Develop robust transition-to-business-ownership plans with key stakeholders, supporting the sustainment of changes to help realize business results.
• Technical Proficiency: Master necessary change tools and technologies, leveraging Change Practice framework and templates for consistent delivery.
• Continuous Growth & Learning: Drive a culture of development by actively sharing insights, embracing iterative learning, and engaging in constructive feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Communications, Learning, Organizational Behavior, or a related field preferred.
• At least one certification in an industry-standard change methodology (e.g., CCMP, Prosci) is preferred.

• Core Technical Skills:
• Enterprise Strategy & Alignment: Ability to see the big picture, connecting project goals to the overarching enterprise vision while utilizing the agility to adapt methodologies to evolving business requirements.
• Technical Translation: Expert at assessing and articulating the human impact of complex Enterprise-wide implementations.
• Client Obsession: A fundamental commitment to prioritizing the client experience in all strategic initiatives.
• Data-Driven Problem Solving: Able to analyze data, discern core objectives, and develop novel solutions for unprecedented organizational challenges.
