Axon Enterprise is growing fast, and we’re looking for a trailblazing Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Architect to help us scale. As a Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Architect, you’ll be at the center of designing and implementing solutions that support Axon’s financial operations and rapid growth.

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative financial solutions within the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 FO) platform.
• Conduct fit/gap analyses to identify areas for customization and develop detailed design specifications when necessary.
• Partner with finance stakeholders to assess, refine, and automate key financial processes.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of finance-related projects within D365 FO.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Axon’s finance leadership team.
• Collaborate with the internal audit and finance teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.
• Provide training and documentation to finance teams and end-users.
• Serve as the point of contact for all D365 FO finance-related matters.
• Partner with Finance, IT, and Enterprise Architecture leaders to identify, prioritize, and deliver AI-enabled capabilities.
• Stay informed of the latest D365 Finance, Power Platform, Copilot, AI, and Microsoft cloud capabilities.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience designing and implementing electronic reporting solutions.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to solve complex business challenges.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with integrating D365 FO with other enterprise applications.
• Experience evaluating or implementing AI-enabled business solutions.
• D365 certifications in Finance or other relevant modules are preferred.

Requirements

• Strong track record of designing and implementing finance-related systems.
• Experience creating and implementing legal entities and managing financial consolidations.
• Familiarity with GAAP, IFRS, and revenue recognition.
• Skilled in prioritizing tasks, managing timelines, and ensuring successful project delivery.
• Ability to identify inefficiencies in operational processes and design solutions.
• Comfortable working with senior finance leadership and stakeholders.
• Understanding of how to create seamless, integrated workflows.
• Ability to identify practical applications of AI within finance operations.

Benefits

• Base Pay Range: $154,688 — $247,500 USD.
