As a Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Architect, you’ll be at the center of designing and implementing solutions that support Axon’s financial operations and rapid growth. You will help shape the future of Finance systems by leveraging modern ERP capabilities, automation, analytics, and AI-driven solutions.

• Location: Remote with a preference for Axon Hubs (Boston, NYC, Seattle, Scottsdale)
• Reports to: Sr. Director, Business Systems ERP

What You’ll Do

• Solution Architecture: Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative financial solutions within the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 FO) platform.
• Business Process Optimization: Partner with finance stakeholders to assess, refine, and automate key financial processes.
• Project Delivery: Oversee the full lifecycle of finance-related projects within D365 FO.
• Collaboration: Work closely with solution architects, business analysts, finance teams, developers, and other cross-functional partners.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to Axon’s finance leadership team.
• Audit & Reporting: Collaborate with the internal audit and finance teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Training & Mentorship: Provide training and documentation to finance teams and end-users.
• Leadership: Serve as the point of contact for all D365 FO finance-related matters.
• Finance Innovation & AI Strategy: Partner with Finance, IT, and Enterprise Architecture leaders to identify, prioritize, and deliver AI-enabled capabilities.
• Continued Education: Stay informed of the latest D365 Finance, Power Platform, Copilot, AI, and Microsoft cloud capabilities.

Qualifications

• D365 FO Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Finance & Accounting Knowledge: Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Advanced Reporting: Experience designing and implementing electronic reporting solutions.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex projects.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to solve complex business challenges.
• Collaboration & Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• System Integration Experience: Familiarity with integrating D365 FO with other enterprise applications.
• AI & Intelligent Automation Experience: Experience evaluating or implementing AI-enabled business solutions.
• Certifications & Technical Expertise: D365 certifications in Finance or other relevant modules are preferred.

Benefits

• Base Pay Range: $148,500 — $237,600 USD
