[Hiring] Bulk Carrier – 2nd Officer @Columbia Shipmanagement

Role Description

• Responsible for navigation safety and voyage planning, including chart corrections and publications.
• Assists Chief Officer in cargo operations, inspections, and safety duties.
• Responsible for the safety equipment and Voyage plan of the vessel.

Qualifications

• Holder of valid COC (STCW Reg II/1) with verification.
• Holder of valid STCW certifications required for the position.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English language.
• Experience with multicultural working environment.
• Safety culture and mindset.

Requirements

• Minimum experience requirements: 12 months in Rank with the same type/size of vessel.
• Experience in trading area USA and Australia is recommended.
