Role Description

We are looking for a reliable and organized Administrative Virtual Assistant to provide day-to-day support for a daycare and school environment. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with parents and staff, and able to manage multiple administrative tasks independently.

• Manage emails, calendars, and general correspondence
• Respond to parent and staff enquiries
• Assist with scheduling, appointments, and meetings
• Maintain student, family, and administrative records
• Prepare documents, reports, spreadsheets, and forms
• Assist with enrolment and registration-related administration
• Follow up on outstanding information or documentation
• Organize files and keep records accurate and up to date
• Support general day-to-day administrative tasks as required

Qualifications

• Previous administrative or virtual assistant experience
• Strong written and spoken English
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Confident communicating professionally with parents, staff, and other stakeholders
• Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, calendars, and online systems
• Able to work independently and manage priorities
• Experience in a school, daycare, education, or childcare environment is an advantage

Benefits

• CAD 1,700 per month
• Approximately R19,715 per month, depending on the prevailing exchange rate
• The salary will be paid in Canadian dollars, so the ZAR equivalent may fluctuate slightly based on currency movements
