Role Description

We are looking for a Production Copywriter to support a global creative and marketing team with the execution and adaptation of marketing and advertising copy across digital and print channels. The copywriter will work from approved messaging and adapt, resize, proof, and finalize copy according to established brand standards across multiple formats and channels. The role will work closely with the production design resource to ensure that final assets are accurate, consistent, on-brand, and ready for market.

Key Responsibilities

• Adapt approved copy into channel-specific variations across paid social, LinkedIn, display advertising, email, events, and print collateral.
• Write and edit copy within strict character, word count, formatting, and placement constraints.
• Apply established brand voice, tone, messaging, and style guidelines consistently across all deliverables.
• Proofread and QA copy within design files to ensure accuracy, consistency, grammar, punctuation, and adherence to brand standards.
• Adapt existing messaging for different formats, audiences, placements, and campaign requirements without changing the approved strategic message.
• Handle high-volume, fast-turnaround production requests with limited supervision.
• Partner closely with the production design resource to deliver accurate, market-ready creative assets.
• Review copy for consistency across campaign materials and identify potential errors or inconsistencies before delivery.
• Manage multiple production requests while maintaining attention to detail and meeting agreed timelines.
• Collaborate with creative and marketing stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve copy-related issues.
• Work within established processes and workflows for creative production and asset delivery.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native English writing proficiency (C2) with exceptional command of US English.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce client-facing marketing copy that reads naturally to a US audience.
• Demonstrated experience writing for a US or international English-speaking market.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly around grammar, punctuation, spelling, terminology, and formatting.
• Experience working within an existing brand voice and style guide rather than developing or defining brand voice.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple requests in a production environment.
• Comfortable working with short turnaround times and high-volume requests.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong proofreading and editing skills.
• Comfortable collaborating with designers and other creative or marketing stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of how copy needs to adapt across different marketing channels and formats.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in production copywriting, copy editing, marketing execution, or a similar role.
• Experience working within an in-house creative team, advertising agency, marketing organization, or similar environment.
• Proven ability to adapt approved messaging into multiple formats while preserving the intended meaning and brand voice.
• Experience working with digital advertising and marketing channels, such as paid social, LinkedIn, display advertising, email, and web.
• Ability to work effectively within design-led creative production workflows.
• Strong proofreading and QA capabilities for copy embedded within creative assets.
• Ability to work within strict character counts, layout constraints, and channel-specific requirements.
• Written work sample and live writing exercise required as part of the selection process to validate C2-level English writing proficiency.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AI-assisted writing tools and workflows.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly enough to review and edit copy within design files.
• Experience supporting B2B marketing content.
• Experience working with enterprise or technology-focused brands.
• Experience producing copy for integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
