Role Description

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in translating, copy editing content in the specified subject matter areas or verticals:
• Investigator facing
• Patient facing
• Pharmacy material
• Marketing
• Help and UI content
• Professional level understanding of English (US/GB)
• Native level expertise of Amharic as Target Language with core understanding of cultural nuances
• Well versed with various CAT tools like:
• XTM
• Phrase
• Trados
• Jira
• Smartling
• Working knowledge of MS office applications like MS Word, MS Excel
• Desirable: Translation degree or, if other degree, 3 years of translation experience or, if no degree, 5 years of translation experience

Requirements

• Building a team of Freelance Language Experts who can collaborate on multiple accounts and programs
• Use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses
• Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans
